Deburring wheel
350x490x40mm K150

The deburring wheel in the BROWN Edition is a universal deburring wheel designed for deburring and edge rounding of sheet metal edges made of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It is used whenever reproducible results, consistent edge rounding, and high process reliability are required. During the deburring of sheet metal parts, secondary burrs are reliably removed and the edge is subsequently rounded evenly. This improves component handling, reduces the risk of injury, and creates optimal conditions for subsequent processes such as coating, welding, or assembly.
The STRAIGHT-CUT, the classic solution for deburring and edge rounding of sheet metal edges, produces fine lines with a uniform direction, ensuring a consistent surface finish. Combined with balanced stock removal and long service life, the deburring wheel guarantees efficient and reliable processing.

Deburring wheels from boeck
boeck deburring wheels are used for deburring and edge rounding sheet metal components on automated processing machines. With different abrasive cloth materials, slit patterns and cut configurations, the roller can be matched to the component, material and required processing result. boeck deburring wheels remove light primary and secondary burrs, create consistent edge rounding and can also support finish grinding. They are compatible with many machines from leading manufacturers.

Deburring and edge rounding
Deburring and edge rounding of metal parts are among the first steps after cutting. In this process, primary and secondary burrs are removed and the edges are rounded. Highly flexible tools are used that can easily reach into holes and cut-outs in the sheet metal part.
The boeck deburring wheel is available in various editions. Depending on the selected edition, it can be used to deburr and round the edges of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized and polished sheet metal. The wheels are usually mounted on automated machines and often operate with two rotating movements: around their own axis and around the axis of the mounting. The flexible tools can easily reach into holes and cut-outs in the sheet metal part. Deburring wheels have been specifically developed for this application.
Our deburring wheel
Our deburring wheels are the ideal tools for film-coated, galvanized, aluminum, steel and stainless steel sheet metal. They offer a high abrasive density while remaining highly flexible. The deburring wheels adapt optimally to the sheet metal edges and ensure excellent deburring and edge-rounding results. Depending on the range of workpieces and the desired result, we recommend different editions with various grit sizes and slitting patterns.
We balance our deburring wheels to G 6.3 to ensure smooth operation. Our deburring wheels are available in various sizes and for a wide range of machine types.
We look forward to helping you make your processes more efficient.

Slitting pattern
The right lamella cutting pattern for your process!
Depending on the application, deburring wheels are available with different cutting patterns and slitting widths.
- The slitting width 3 & 3 mm is particularly well suited for sheet metal contours with many small cut-outs.
- 3 & 5 mm is considered the all-rounder when it comes to slitting width.
- For strong edge rounding on external contours, the slitting width 5 & 5 mm perfect.
Unlike conventional manufacturing processes, such as punching, we cut our abrasive cloth lamellas with a laser, resulting in a maximum proportion of abrasive grain in the lamellas. There are also two options for the slitting pattern:
- S-Line: Slitting pattern with highly adaptable lamellas – particularly suitable for sheet metal contours with many small cut-outs.
- G-Line: Slitting pattern with higher edge stability – particularly suitable for strong edge rounding on external contours.
Slot angle
Linear or non-directional surface finish during deburring and edge rounding? Our deburring wheels are available with straight-cut or angled-cut lamellas, each producing different results.
Straight-Cut: Straight-cut lamellas produce a linear surface finish.
X-Cut: Angled-cut lamellas produce a non-directional surface finish.
