Not only is a pleasant feel important, but also the preparation for further work steps, such as varnishing. To achieve the desired surface quality, the use of boeck sanding brush discs is recommended. Depending on the bristle material, they treat the surface with varying degrees of abrasion.

Grinding brush disc
Our sanding brush discs are ideal for sanding and edge-breaking wood! They achieve low pressure on the workpiece, resulting in a smooth surface and perfectly rounded edges.
Boeck grinding brush discs are available in two versions: one with permanently bonded individual brushes and the other with a brush holder. Permanently bonded grinding brush discs offer the advantage of more brushes on the disc surface, while the brush holder allows you to manually change the individual grinding brushes.
The open arrangement of the abrasive fabric flaps makes the brush highly flexible, allowing the tool to adapt well to the contours of the workpiece. Combined with the Tampico fibers, this flexibility provides sufficient grip to ensure adequate contact pressure. boeck abrasive brush discs are available for both stationary and handheld machines.

boeck brush holder
The boeck brush holder allows for quick and easy brush changes with minimal effort. However, to maintain a perfect and consistent finish, it is advisable to replace only every other brush after it becomes worn. This alternating replacement ensures that the brushes' aggressiveness remains constant with the same machine settings. Replacing all brushes simultaneously will initially result in an overly aggressive grinding action, which will decrease over time. The numbering on the side of each holder slot helps keep track of the correct brushes.
Our deburring brush discs are also available with permanently bonded grinding brushes. While these cannot be replaced, they are more densely packed and more numerous.
